Well looks like Denayer made his choice and Galatasaray know that so low balling us with a 5m euros bid.
 
Shame had high hopes for him a couple of years ago. But unfortunately it has not worked out for him.

Miles ahead of the Scots. In the top ten European leagues for sure. Gala, Fenerbanche, Besiktas, Antalya and a few others would be mid-table teams in the prem.

Aha pull the other one mate its got bells on. Mid table sides! What an absolute joke. The Turkish league is where old blokes and people with no other options, not even china, go to die. Even the bloody Turks don't play there, they'd rather be German.

And as to the top ten leagues, it is yes, but barely. It just scrapes in above the global powerhouses of the tipico bundesliga and swiss super league. Even the piss weak jupiler league has it beaten.
 
The top 3 sides in Turkey would absolutely compete for 7th place in the Prem. Just look at their rosters. They have money to compete with anyone outside the big 5 leagues.

The rest of the league probably sucks, but I wouldn't really know.

No they wouldn't.

Fenerbahce's best player is Andre Ayew who was dreadful in the premier league, Galatasaray can only offer the likes of Bafetimbi Gomis another swansea reject and Muslera who has always been third rate and Besiktas are so bad the likes of Vagner Love and Ryan Babel are still stealing a living there.

The only good players in the entire league are an aged Pepe, Domagoj Vida who no one had even heard of before this world cup and a past-it Beast.

They'd be better than the dog botherers and brighton but top 7 not a chance.
 
Besiktas is rated the 32nd best team in the world by ELO. They had a bunch of pretty good players last year (not sure who's still there). Medel is a star for Chile with 100+ caps. Talisca went to China for big money. Queresma still plays for Portugal. Hell, Babel is a starter for the Dutch these days.

I think they could compete with Leicester or Everton, or God knows, Burnley.
