I think it's absolutely fantastic that he played 309 times for United scoring 171 goals but he gets remembered most for that back-heel.

However that's not my point, Sky Sports News interviewed him ahead of the tomorrow and showed the back heel, claiming he didn't celebrate because he wrongly thought he'd relegated United.

This implies that United weren't relegated that season. I know it's only a small point because United would have been relegated even if it had been a draw but it's been annoying me all day.

You can understand Laws position after he'd scored that ...... i was there that day , and that goal created a wierd , but threatening , atmosphere in the ground ...... it wasn't very pleasant after that , to say the least!

He didn't know anyone elses results , and obviously thought his goal had sent them down ....... and after spending a huge chunk of his career there he just didn't want that.
