My Mrs has spun the holiday roulette wheel and it appears to have landed on Denmark. Have to say it looks like it has some nice beaches and would be a good antidote to yer Costas, not that we go to them. But where would you start? Jutland seems to be the best option for beaches but as far as I can see no direct flights to that part of the world.

I'm sure someone on here has had a very good holiday with two teenage boys in Denmark that has been very accessible etc and will give us some tips.

I hope you and your boys are adept at armed robbery. As has been mentioned, the only currency indicator worth s fuck, of course I’m talking about the Pint Cost Index is harsh.

Maybe a holuday where you finally you cut down on your alcohol intake?

A beautiful place and on the bright side, you will see and remember more of it as you nurse a £10 pint.

Went to Legoland Denmark last year. Flew Direct from Manchester to Billund. With two lego obsessed kids we spent most of the time at legoland so didn’t do much exploring but there does seem to be a lot to do and we discussed going back and exploring Denmark more. From the little research we did it seems like a place that having a car maybe useful. As others have said it can be a bit pricey although to be fair we ate in a few cafes where burgers, pizza, kebabs etc weren’t much more than you would pay here. Also went self catering and found the local version of LIDL called Rema, again not that expensive. Got talking to a Danish Family and they Recomended visiting Ribe which I think is in the south but cant remember where they said it was.

I go Aalborg every year. So many great pubs and bars with hot girls everywhere!

Only been to Copenhagen which is great for museums and art galleries.
Got Skagen on my bucket list,again for the art museum.Seemingly though the beaches are amazing up that way.
As folk have said.The price of drink is shocking but still better than Norway.

I love anywhere in Scandinavia but you need a lottery win for a night on the ale, especially Norway,
a session there will see you in penury for the rest of your life. Denmark is beautiful though, although it's
a fair while since I went there. If you're single, the girls are like Valkyries,leggy blond and absolutely
gorgeous,if I recall, ah, happy days :(

They have a good world view imo. They have a weekend where a whole village just gets blankets goes to the beach, looks at the sunset and sunrise, just chill and enjoy each others company. What a beautiful idea that is.
