I don't follow the EDS and under 18s well but I do watch all their highlights and it seems that suarez has been playing under 18 football, was the reserves to much of a step up for him because from what I heard I was hoping he could break his way into the first team squad this season?

I have high hopes for suarez i'm just wondering how his progress is going, whats wrong with that?

He plays for u18s and EDS - there is no reserve team this season.

i reckon Suarez could be our new silva in the making. He has the talent and the ability, and from the footage iv seen he seems to fit in that very same position as silva, behind forwards and in front of midfield.

The under 18s basically are the EDS. For development reasons or whatever we've entered them into an under 19(?)s tournament against teams like Barca

He plays for u18s and EDS - there is no reserve team this season.

I was under the impression our EDS was our reserves?

While promising, all reports that i've read of games suggest he's nowhere near close enough to being ready.

He reminds me of Berkovic. He'll be ok, we'll see him in the first team squad within a few years. He'll probably go out on loan first.

From the EDS games i've seen he has that added bit of quality over the rest of the players.

When I watched him play vs united in the u18s derby he was by far the best player on the pitch but many hve said is performances in the next gen series have not been that good.
He obviously has alot of tallant but I think it will be another year before we see him in matchday squads.
