I know its completely off the topic of football but im having dental problems (think my wisdom teeth are coming through) just wondering if anyone knows how long ill have to wait on the NHS to have it sorted? got an appointment on friday to see an NHS dentist as all private ones are either full up or way to expensive

Im writing this so late in the night because toothache is preventing me from sleeping

any feedback would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Moved to Off Topic for you. Wish I could help as I have some wisdom teeth that are coming through in the back of my jaw, and it's driving me nuts. Not 'cant sleep' pain, but still a 'pain in the arse' pain.

haha cheers mate. hope i can get it sorted soon. max it can cost on the NHS is £198 which is alot but not too bad.. its affordable, but i just wanna get it sorted sooner rather than later. why cant they have come through when i was younger so it could have been free?! why wait till im 21?! the unreasonable bastards lol

I had two removed in June pal. I was referred by my dentist to Bolton NHS who in turn referred me to a private hospital.
I had my consultation in April and the teeth out in June. It didn't cost me a penny.
I need to go back and have another one out. Treatment by the NHS doesn't incur the normal dental costs. If your dentist pulled them out it would be about £46, but I don't think they like pulling them out (WISDOM) under local aneasthetic because there is a risk of nerve damage.
Hope that helps. I know what your going through and it's a twat.

my misus is a dental nurse, she says that if it is you may if he is any good whip i out there and then but cant see that happening so you will probably just get another appointment to get them done but if they or it are impacted involvint "the inferior dental nerve" (2 close to the nerve) you will then be referred to the hospital for the oral surgeon to remove..hope this helps but she says most are done in the chair of the local dentist..

I too have the wisdom teeth thing going on at the moment... I reckon I can get away with it though because they appear to have room. It's the gum where they're going through that is a pain though.

I had my wisdom teeth out 5 months ago. from when they decided to take my teeth out to having it done was about two months. They referred me to a private hospital to have them done under a general anaesthetic. tip top I thought.
