Some advice folks,

I was thinking of getting some much needed dental work done on the continent ( too expensive at home in Ireland) and would try and tie this in with a two week detox sun holiday in a nice quiet coastal area.
I was thinking maybe somewhere in Croatia perhaps, has anyone had any experience of this?
My only preference would be that I'd be in a coastal area and of course competitive prices.

Cheers.

Its defo an option but the thing with that is if there are any problems post treatment i.e swelling, tooth ache and the such dentists would be reluctant to touch someone else's work thus costing you twice as much to re do

If your registered with them they have a duty to see you with in 24 hours but if your not registered you could probly walk into a dentist but then they dry bum you out of your hard earned plus they wouldn't re do the work just get you out of pain and send you on your way

Go for it mate I had a shit load of work done in Bangkok about £2500. Long story short the work was first class each different dentistry skill done by a different specialist some of it rectifying bad work I had at home. Akin to methods used in places like Harley St. The only difference being the difference in cost UK I would have guessed at £7000. I went from Bangkok to Pattaya between treatments about an hour away and by the beach. Not the best beach in the world but great hotels at good prices and only about £20 each way in a cab. If you want more details re the dentist I used and the treatment I had drop me a pm.
PS England Bangkok flights return at approx £450 with Etihad return.

i had some work done in Goa and it was a fraction of the price of a UK dentist. The place was full of Brits getting work done and i heard no horror stories either.
Depending on what you have done i'd say you need 3 weeks there.

You need a visa to enter Goa.

Me Mam had some work done in Goa, what would have been a course over 6 weeks here was done in 2 weeks over there, The Dentist then gave her a disc with the info of what he had done to pass onto the dentist over here, My mum reckons it was around a 3rd of the price and the dentist over here said he couldnt have done much better himself regarding the quality.

I've not had one problem in the three years since i had the work done.

I also got new specs there. A quarter of the price and made in 2 days instead of the, "Hmm...i'll have to order the lenses fron China so it'll be 3 weeks," bollox i get here.
