I know I'm a cynical old sod, but there is something not quite right about what is going on at Derby. I mean, who gave that inarticulate oaf the job of manager in the first place, and why?
Whoever it was who decided that an incoherent, brain-dead, mentally handicapped simpleton like Shrek would be a great managerial appointment should be summarily executed by firing squad - immediately. Because whoever it was has caused irreparable damage to the club's history, its reputation within the game, and it has insulted the intelligence of its supporters and the board members.
I honestly thought he was finished at the end of last season when they avoided relegation with almost the last kick of the game, but no - there he is still, in the dugout: looking bewildered and perplexed by what his players are doing on the pitch, like he had nothing whatsoever to do with whatever their instructions and tactics are. A permanent frown on his grotesquely round face as he tries desperately hard to look like he knows what he is doing, but failing miserably.
The man is a fucking train wreck of a human being.
