Hate this feeling, wide awake at 6.15 even before the kids. Probably been to 30 derby's and I never get used to it, this is paticularly bad as for the first time in years we actually have something to win/lose rather than plain pride! Anyone else up this early purely because of nerves?

twatting the ref should do the trick

Woke up at 6 and couldn't get back to sleep. At least I'm up and ready. Gonna head into town soon and find somewhere to drink those nerves away.

A song to steel the nerves

Come, cheer up, my lads, 'tis to glory we steer,
To add something more to this wonderful year;
To honour we call you, as freemen not slaves,
For who are so free as the sons of the waves?

(Chorus sung once...)
Heart of oak are our ships, jolly tars are our men,
we always are ready; Steady, boys, steady!
We'll fight and we'll conquer again and again.

We ne'r see our foes but we wish them to stay,
They always see us and they wish us away;
If they run, we will follow, we will drive them ashore,
And if they won't fight, we can do no more.

(Chorus sung once...)

We'll still make them feel and we'll still make them flee,
And draw them much lower as we guard them at sea,
Then cheer up, my lads, with one heart let us sing,
Oh soldiers, oh sailors, oh statesmen, and king

Been up since six,tummy's f**ked,bum is in bits,told myself dont eat but i thought with the nerves and tension if i dont i will faint at sometime today,so you guessed it,about 30 mins ago had some breakfast and now it's a toss up between my bum and my mouth as to witch i will see that breakfast again ! oh god why does it have to be like this,i swear my hands are shaking as i post this !

Been up since 5:35am and as soon as i opened 1 eye i was wide awake. Tevez away shirt is on ready for the derby day banter with my rag mates. There is something in the air today, i feel a win! I really hope the ticker tape and streamers reception works. It'll look top notch if it does.
