Devon and Cornwall

Clovelly ...

a small place that you'd never forget!

Other places worth considering include Torquay , Woolacombe and Perranporth.

We went down a couple of years ago as a late summer last minute decision, stayed in a place called Mawgan Porth, had a good week weather wise and the beach there was great, just a few miles up from Newquay if I remember right and easy to get around with a car. It was nice and quiet when we went, but this was later in the summer.

Thinking of taking the kids down to Devon and Cornwall in the Summer

Anyone recommend somewhere not to big, good for teens, near the sea and other attractions.

Which are the best small towns, etc

Its a bloody long way but both counties are worth it.

My faves are Mevagissey, St Agnes, Clovelly and lands end.

Goonhilly downs is also worth a visit and the seal sanctuary.

It depends what they enjoy.

I went to Bude once

It was a wednesday, it rained, i got pissed and my mate ended up in hospital.

Happy days
