By way of some light relief and in advance of the game at Wigan (the mecca of pies they would say) what was the verdict on the pies........me and my lad had a chicken balti pie (although a rumour whilst in the queue said they had sold out!!!) and they were top notch.

Scores on the doors for the pies lads please???????

I couldn't make it to the game last night but spoke to mate when he was driving home (on his handsfree, before the pc brigade start sharpening their knives). After discussing the game at length,he said the pies were quality-some of the best he's had. I did ask him if they came anywhere near the pies at Wigan, and he seemed to think they weren't a million miles away. Gutted I missed them.

Ah well, we've got those ones in a couple of weeks anyway :P My first visit to their ground, must remember to try one.

Didn't try the pies but the Villa Chippy behind the coach car park was top draw.

Plenty of blues well fed and watered!

If the Pies were shaped like chips then I had one.

They told us they had none left.........

They must have gone to the Holte End and got some to stock up.

Pleased to say they were actually SLOWER serving than at COMS...

RUBBISH SERVICE.

I was lucky enough to be in a private box last night in the Doug Ellis stand, top drawer, box in line with the halfway line. We had roast beef yorkie pud, proper gravy, pudding, there was curry n rice too, cheese and biscuits, free programme, free ale, superb night, many thanks to IC projects, top lads.

steak pie was top 3 ive tasted, perfect temperature to bite straight in, a good amount of steak and gravy, and top it off served on a paper plate with napkin !!! life doesnt get better

i think it's a disgrace people are comimg on here saying how good the Villa pies are, if i'd been at the game last night and someone next to me was showing their appreciation of a Villa pie id have taken it out of his/her hands and thrown it at Richard Dunne!!!! That's how much of a fan i am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Not bad at all, the hotdog's and chips were crap though so my daughter told me.

Steak Pie 8/10

I actually thought the service was alot better than CoMS, 1 person took the order and cash, shouted through an low and behold chips/hotdog and Pie brought straigth to the counter by 2 separate people.
