Did they do a disco after the game?

I left the stadium as soon as the full time whistle went yesterday. I haven't watched the highlights yet.

Some may remember conversation on here about the trend for cheesy post-match discos on the tannoy, and what was appropriate for the Charity Shield. Did they do one or did they have the common sense to show a bit of perspective and keep it low key?

<a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=263145" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=263145</a>

And did our lads have the sense to take their medals, wave to the crowd and fuck off?

All I remember is Blue Moon (Supra) and Roll With It (Oasis). I left a while later as the players were starting to leave but don't remember anything else that was familiar... certainly no Hey Jude or Wonderwall, or any camp 80s songs.

I stayed.

Chelsea got their medals and then City went up,dont recall the muzak drowning us out which made a nice change.

Team went right round City support then Bob and Sergio were interviewed just in front of the tunnel, stayed to watch as my youngest was trying so hard to get Sergios attention shouting him!

So they didn't drown out the singing with the karaoke then. Good call. Well done AVFC.

Glad most people stayed, don't blame people who travelled by road who left at FT.

I enjoyed it and got right to the front and saw Mancini, Nasri and Aguero do their post match interviews.

How are you scoring the cheese factor on the disco, Liam?

If the QPR game was a 10, what was this? Less than 5 I see as a victory for "Kill The Cheese".

I'd go for a 3, Dave. It would have been a 0 but for the Supra version of Bluemoon instead of the one they played at the semi final. That scored 2 points. Roll with it scored 1 point. Wonderwall would have been acceptable.

A minor but important victory for KTC and one more step towards decheeseifying the matchday experience, long may it continue.

Good news Liam.

We need to get to work on the pre-match stuff at COMS next.
