Did you call a bonfire a bonty or a bommy?

You see that is where this is so wrong, your missus is NOT from NE Manchester. She is from Lancashire. That is the back end of beyond (but still better than Dukinfield/Stalybridge) so she is bound to use a stupid word instead on bommy.

Funnily enough she goes mad when I say Manchester to her rather than Lancs.
