Diego Godin

Seems like it could be a good deal, he's a good age, been caped 56 times for Uruguay so he has good experience and for about £8 million he's not really expensive.

Although i've never seen him play so I can't really make a judgement on his ability.

If they have to pay 12.6mil every year, why not offer to pay their taxes for the next 3 years and get Falcao in return? ;)
Yup! Falcao would be a great back up defender .

<shakes head> some people are just too thick ;)

Diego Godin ?

A friend of mine runs one of the academy teams at Liverpool,he reckons, city are showing some interest in Diego Godin, centre half at athletico Madrid...how true I don't know..just wondering if anyone else has heard his name mentioned?

Mr Thin ,we need a defender not a striker

Nobody disputes that. However, we wouldn't have gone after RVP if we were not interested in strikers..
Atletico have debts, hence my suggestion for City to pay it for them in return for their best players..

Have you ever heard of an ocean liner , built in Belfast , which sank circa 1912?

You might be about to

He dives in a bit - a trait which cost Atleti a CL place. Started off shakily at the rojiblancos but struck up a decent partnership with Dominguez who I think would be a better bet and is younger.
Depends how much

Dominguez would have been a much better buy. Unfortunately he has now gone to Borussia Monchengladbach to replace Dante.

Tricky fookers!!!
Atleti tax bill looks paid if and when Godin does go. Will they sell 2 CBs though?
