But Demi said last night he loves us all ;-)
It seems to make sense that he might leave in 2016 but we would have to pay a years wages if we want to let him go now.
So Athletico have sold Miranda and Aledrwerield and might be selling Godin too?
that reminds me. I saw mangala in sainsburys the other day. The one on regent road.Don't believe this, I don't believe that Demi desperately wants to leave now either. He would have made that clear a few months ago.
If it is true, however, I think it would cast serious doubt over Mangala's long term future, as if we had any confidence in him we would find another experienced stop-gap centre half.
Our defence.
A horribly off form, mistake prone defender who's possibly facing a natural decline anyway
An inconsistent big money purchase who could go either way but shows promise and worries in equal measure
A kid who's never even played a PL game
A veteran who has one season left in him - yet is our best defender by some way imo
... if you don't want to sign the closest thing to the Messi of CBs I don't understand at all.
Lomas....by the sounds of it......Godin has a 40mil euro release clause so not alot Athletico can do if we willing to activate the clause..my only question is, Would Godin be a better buy than Otamendi?....Otamendi is a few years younger...

Manchester City betting very strong by Godin
The English team is willing to pay 40 million clause Uruguayan Central and multiply your salary. Now comes a move to Atletico.
