Went to see the film last night and it is a good watch. Maradona came from humble beginnings and was worshipped as a god in Naples. He fell in with the mafia so no great surprise he went off the rails. At his peak he was phemonenal - taking Napoli to two scudettos and other silverware was a staggering achievement which, combined with his world cup win, makes him (for me) the best ever.
Napoli retired the number 10 shirt when he left but, according to a recent article in the Daily Mail, they are thinking of bringing back and offering it to James Rodriguez to try to get him to sign for them. Crazy idea as Rodriguez is not anywhere good enough for such an honour.
