What is the point of signing promising youngsters, when we never get the chance to see what they can do.

We make money on them, it's that simple. We might be lucky and a gem turns up, but if you think about it, we'll have made/make money on Brahim Diaz, Eric Garcia, Jack Harrison, Aaron Mooy, Oleks Zinchenko, to name a few.

Is Diego Ross going to one of a number of players we have signed over the years. That will have got nowhere near a 1st team place. Then we either let them go for nothing or sold them on.

What ever became of Patrick Roberts signed him from Fulham, and we have yet to see him play for the first team.

He hasn't followed through with his potential (he couldnt get into Norwich's side last season) - not all can work - look at Brandon Barker - amazing as a kid - just played his first decent game for Rangers.
