Difficulty getting on the forum straight away

I'm okay getting on the index page but can't get onto the forum page straight away. It always seems to stall on the paypal download. It usually takes about 2-3 attempts before I'm automatically into the forum page. Anyone know why this happens ? I know its not a matter of life and death but its a pain in the arse when I just want to have a quick check on whats going on. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Is it every time you log in mate? I've noticed that the server has been running pretty slowly in the early evening recently, but can't work out why.

Yes, every time I log on it stalls at '2 items' to be downloaded. I have to abort and start again. It's something to do with paypal I think. Thanks for the reply.

Hmm, I can't think why the Paypal button would cause a problem with the page loading. Have you tried using Firefox?
