I've just ordered my 1st digital camera. A 10MP Canon Ixus.

I've always wanted to get into taking pictures (family, landscapes, etc) and decided on this.

On the Which? website it's a 'Best Buy' and Which? are usually always spot on.

Anyone else into photography either seriously or as a hobby? It's always something that has fascinated me.

nice point and shoot! for future ref don't rely on which to much, they tend to only compare a limited range and can't really tell if it will suit your specific needs. If you do get into it you'll probably find that it's a bit limiting though, when you do pm me and I'll try to put you in the direction of something a bit more "sophisticated" ;)
Lost out on a Canon 20d for my sister on ebay about 35mins ago :(
have 7 cameras at the mo, film and digital, and trying to bite the bullet on a Canon 5d mkii as hoping to start doing some portrait and event work.
ps does the bluebell or drop have a hooky sat system that might show th SA games?

Yeah Point and shoot is what I was going for... at least till I see how it pans out (pun intended) and then maybe I can get something a little better.

I have had some decent results from a 5mp camera phone, I just seem to be able to take a good photo.

I doubt it very much that you'll be able to get those games anywhere... although for regular games, The Drop inn is a good bet, also The Bird In Hand on Liverpool road has Canal+ and shows pretty much every EPL game.

top camera is that one,we got the canon ixus70 ,7.1 mega pixel,got it a couple of years ago to take to florida,my missus loves it i must admit i dont use it much as i use my lg renoir mobile to take pics but you cant go wrong with a canon
