Was JUST about to order one of these bad boys off Play.com when I just noticed that there is going to be an 80 gb version released on 27th August.
Play.com are listing it for pre-order at £299.
Thing is I've been waiting for a PS3 for ages and could only afford one today.
Do I order the standard 40gb model + MGS4 for £310 for immediate delivery or do I order this new 80gb console for £300, waiting a month for release.
The thing for me is I'm not too bothered about the hard disk size at the moment as it's not really widely used by Sony. A 320gb laptop hardrive will set me back 50 quid when needed and can be fitted within minutes, so HDD size isn't really a major problem for me.
However apparently, this new 80gb version of the console comes with a Dualshock 3 pad instead of the normal 6-axis and backwards compatability.
What you guys (& gals)) think?
