Dimitri Seluk (Yaya's agent)

Very much this.

Fuck Inter with their play now, pay in 18 months time and then peanuts philosophy.

Amen brother. Seems all the Italian clubs like to structure their deals this way....fuck him off to China. They'll love him, he'll love the fact they love him,
he'll be taller than everyone which will make him feel even more important
agent makes a shitload of cash (lets not pretend it doesnt matter Dmitri you penis), and I've heard Chinese birthday cake is lovely.

Loves the sound of his own voice that one doesn't he. There's only so many times you can cry wolf.

I know yeah, he can do fuck all that Yaya.

His agent is a cock but Yaya Toure will go down in folklore here. Scorer of some of the most important goals in our history. That goal at wembley vs United, the winner vs Stoke, the 2 at Newcastle(What a day that was), the goal in the final at sunderland, the winning pen vs Lpool in another final.

It may be time to go, but Thanks Yaya.

Best player and the most influential player over the last 6 years and people have been ragging on him since the day he arrived. If Yaya leaves then he leaves with his best years at City. Personally I hope he stays.

Seluk already on record, not interested in China.

It'll be somewhere like Inter, for a low ball £8m, based on us not paying him off much more.

In essence, a free transfer deal, because he is owed about £12m in wages.

Oh well, Pep is coming and nothing is going to spoil my mood, not even Yaya, his agent and Inter.

There comes a time when it's right that someone leaves, no matter how good they've been. He's pretty much been our main man during this period of five trophies in five years
No room for sentimentality in this game though and it's very much time to move Yaya on and replace him with more energetic players
He'll still be very capable in a slower league

first thing to remember is he is our player on a long contract, so if he does go then inter will have to pay up some big bucks, hope china comes in so we can get a big transfer fee, then again who would want to go to china, lastly his agent is a knob of the highest order.

And when he does leave our club i would like to be the first to thank him for his massive contribution to the rise of our club over the past 5 years, he will be a legend and be remembered for a very long time, he has given us some of the best memorys as a City fan remember his goal at wembley V rags worth every penny he has been paid whilst he has been here.

I think that would be good business in the whole scheme of things.
We paid 24 million and had him for six years at the peak of his career.
I don't think anyone could argue he hasn't been worth every penny.
If it's time to move on then so be it and any fee is a bonus on top of the value we have already enjoyed.

Yaya has been a great signing , but maybe his agent has forgotten the basics of a transfer for a player under contract , if a club makes an offer , we deem if that offer is acceptable , and we then give his agent permission to screw every last penny from his new employees , (after he has royally shafted us , to pay up his contract , loyalty bonuses , air miles , compassionate leave and supply birthday cake for the next decade)

Guardiola let him go once, I can't see him stopping him this time either. Time to cash in & get some money in whilst we can.

Nonsense. As a fan I have lots of room for sentiment. I am endlessly sentimental about City and players. Do I expect Pep to be sentimental? No. If he sees value in keeping Yaya and Yaya wants to stay then he will. If neither side sees value then Yaya will leave. But personally and for sentimental reasons I hope Yaya stays.

Yeah I understand that. It seems strange when fans tell others there's no room for sentiment in regards to players. I always thought that was part of the joy of the game. Like you say, you'd expect a manager to be different but I quite like having a bond with certain players. They've usually earned any sentiment coming their way.

I doubt Inter could afford his wages unless he's willing to take a big cut which is unlikely. I could see him staying in the premier league. West Ham?
