He is fucking clueless. When was the last time we played well or beat a decent team? Don't look fit can't defend. And those substitutions! We have no balls not a single player other than Delph put a foot in.

Run out of straws to clutch at so let's bring Fernando on against ten man Everton whilst we have Nacho keeping the bench warm it's not likes it's a semi final is is? WTF????

Maybe he wanted to add some pace with Everton being down to 10 men and tiring towards the end

Who else should he have picked in central defence that would have known not to allow Lukaku a free header from 6 yards?

Explain to me how the team selection caused that goal.

Is Mangala actually injured?

And it's one thing picking the squad it's another choosing formation and instructing them!

I'm not gonna hammer Pellegrini excessively for that, other than to say 2 of the 3 substitutions were ridiculous, the decision not to remove Toure was incredible, and as usual the gaping hole in front of our two centre halves was down to the way he set the team up (the number of times the opposition is able to pass the ball to a team mate totally unmarked, just 25 yards from our goal, is astonishing). Oh and then there's the assemblage of a squad riddled with physical and mental weakness, and of course his inability to motivate them properly.

The bigger issue tonight was with the players. Ya Ya stank the place out, a lazy, lumbering, lummox, who fell over every time he was put under pressure, and gave the ball away cheaply time and time again. The laughable, half hearted, attempted 2nd half tackle on Barkley on the edge of our box, just about summed him up. Captain, my fucking arse. Kevin De Bruyne? A luxury, lightweight item, who bottles every challenge. Otamendi? Hard man according to the papers. Well, hard men don't dive needlessly on the edge of their own box and concede a corner and then a goal, and they certainly don't get brushed over as pathetically as he did by Barkley in the 2nd half. Dimichelis? Did he really attempt that pass out of his own 6 yard box?
That was a cup semi-final FFS! No-one worked hard enough (bar possibly Navas and Sagna), we chickened out of tackles, we were second to everything, and the whole team is riddled with complacency. Pep can't come soon enough, but when he does he's gonna have his fucking work cut out. The mental and physical weakness is that squad is pronounced. They should be hanging their heads in shame in that fucking changing room, but they won't be.

Oh and one last standalone point. That fucking c*nt Madley. A stonewall penalty ignored, and he counted out the 10 yards for all our free kicks with the kind of stride length you get from a tightrope walker over Niagra in a strong wind.

Can't argue with any of that but you should have added that their first was should not have stood.

Time to get out of our club Manuel, thank you for everything you've done, but it's time to go. We can't carry on like this. Temporary manager in till Guardiola comes, and I wouldn't even care if Guardiola didn't even come in at all, anyone right now is better than Manuel.

It is Pellegrini's fault that he didn't give Denayer enough assurances and instead we have to see a 35-year-old centre-back making embarrassing mistakes on the field.

Actually, it's Pellegrini and Txiki's fault Denayer is out on loan and we have Demichelis who makes Mangala look like Bobby Moore.

That said, blaming it on not selecting a player not at the club didn't cause us to concede that goal. You'd expect the personnel on the pitch to understand the basics of defending. Hence my original point, players have to take responsibility for their errors.

Sums tonight up perfectly.

You missed the blind ref out though ;-)
