As bad as people on this thread say Pellegrini is. Who of them would put money on us not winning a trophy this season under his management?
Why are people using this "we're in the qf of the League Cup, in the next phase of the Champions League & may well win the Premier League" as an argument to excuse that fucking disgusting shambolic piece of shit management we saw on Saturday ? Or some of his other fuckups ?
Are people really suggesting that we would be struggling with this squad, if it wasn't for Pellegrini ? That it's only his brilliance which rescued our clueless players v Seville & Borussia, when we were playing like shite & getting turned over ? Or it was his brilliance which rescued us v Newcastle when we were bing ripped apart at the back ?
Really ? If we had Van Ghunt as manager, we would be mid table & struggling to qualify ? Or Koemann wouldn't be able to compete for anything with this squad ? Or Pinocchio or even fucking Martinez ? We'd be happy if Martinez took over & set us up like that v Liverpool, because he's managed to drag us up to 3rd in the league ?
If Kevin Keegan took over this fucking squad tomorrow, we would compete for all the domestic trophies & do a similar topsy turvy job. Mancini would do this or better. So would Benitez or any **** with any half decent managerial ability.
Pellegrini has showed us once this season, what he can do with tactics & nous, away at Seville. That was management, top class, management. The rest of the time, thiis season Harry fucking Redknapp could have done exactly the same job, & we wouldn't be any worse off, at all.
He has at his disposal, some of the best players ever to play in this country. We SHOULD be competing for every trophy, under any manager who comes here. The great manager, should now have us running clear at te top of the league, based on the fixtures we have played. Our loss at Spurs was a fucking disgrace as was the stupidity of allowing a Juve team who came for a draw, score 2 goals without even having to take a risk, to do it.
Any **** could have City where they are now. What he should be doing, is pulling unexpected results out of the bag, not getting fucking hammered unexpectedly.
Not subbing him at Arsenal in 2012?

Well this is what flummoxed me! We were getting mullered in midfield but Aguero and KDB were just running from side to side along the half way line and not helping. Gary Neville kept pointing this out, the fans could see it and probably everyone else and even Pellegrini can't have failed to see it, but Pelletrini just sat there as cold and as grey as the skies above and did nothing which was so reminiscent of Bayern at home 2 years ago.
Perhaps it was just like Gary Neville said in his recent Podcast where he surmised that rather than damage squad morale by hooking off players midway through the first half, Pellegrini looked at the bigger picture and thought maintaining squad morale for the rest of the season would be more beneficial in the long-term than doing what was obviously necessary to rescue this match and risk damaging it.
I suppose there's a moral in there somewhere, but for me it doesn't detract from the fact that many fans had a feeling of impending doom from the moment the team sheet was read out. The mistakes were made before we'd even stepped onto the pitch and unfortunately, we reaped what we sowed.
I refer the honourable gentleman to NK's previous post.As bad as people on this thread say Pellegrini is. Who of them would put money on us not winning a trophy this season under his management?
It was a performance that has changed a few minds and opinions on the manager, mine included and whilst I'm still not in the i want him gone camp, he needs to get his shit sorted and together and fast.
I want that Sevilla performance every week. Pace, pressing, intensity, it really did have it all and the days of possession for possession sakes or our best over 50's walking football impersonation have to go as it does nothing for the vast majority of us and given the way the opposition are now coming at us every week, will do nothing for results either.
Pellegrini has it in him, he showed us that but its down to him to do it and it starts the next game and it needs to carry on.
The very best teams work just as hard off the ball as they do on it. Nothing happens by luck, its down to sheer hard work coupled with the obvious talent and skill but right now, we just don seem to want to work hard enough.

Neither Mancini nor Pellegrini are up there with the great managers.
