That performance was down to Borussia backing down in the second and protecting the lead, Pellegrini done nothing to make that happen..Just another game he got wrong from the start again.

Clueless!

Pellegrini is clearly a genius. Until we lose again, when I will wonder why he wasn't sacked a year ago.

Please enlighten me then

He changed nothing because he got nothhing wrong to start with.

First half the players where sloppy, half arsed and let everyone down including themselves as they did on Saturday.

They came out 2nd half and just did their jobs.

Played with pace, accuracy. Full backs bombed on not allowing theirs to dictate and we mullered them.

Attitude was the difference, thats all.

Fine lines in this game and it shows how players dictate whether a manager is a clown or a genius.

If you listen to Sterling's post match interview, it's quite obvious that Pellegrini did have an influence over the second half.

He does have to improve the defending but it really would help if he could have a consistent centre back pairing. I think he needs to go back to basics but he won't: he will keep taking a high risk approach and rely on getting the sort of attacking performance we had in the second half.

Whatever criticism you have of him, he still has us in all four competitions and we have just won a UCL league for the first time. It could be better, it probably should be a bit better but it could be a hell of a lot worse.

First half we made the same mistakes. Credit to him second half we were a much better team and gave 100% effort which is what I want to see every game

Still think he should go this summer

Maybe he did something crazy, like, you know, speaking to them at half-time or something.

To be honest I do think the German coach totally lost it. They decided to sit in it and City were relentless.

Great character from the players. Pellegrini gambled a bit with Clichy at right back and that threatened to back fire. The front 3 of Silva Sterling and De Bruyne did not work, but you can understand both moves.

Really pleased for Pellegrini and all the City fans. Can we now get back to supporting City instead of using any excuse to slate the coach.
