Every manager has a bad day from time to time. Pellegrini's problem is those bad days are becoming more and more frequent and with the squad at his disposal there is only one person to blame.
We've been without Nasri, Silva and Aguero for many weeks and now Kompany's gone too. Up until yesterday I'd have said we were coping really well.

Even without these players Marvin our form in the premiership since the good start has been alarmingly poor especially who we have been up against.

We have dropped 13 points in those games and that is unacceptable by any measure.

A great opportunity to take advantage of our good start has been thrown away and MP has to take some of the flack for that.

Unless we go on string of wins starting against Southampton the owners should in earnest start lining up his replacement because despite the poor quality of the sides in the premiership this season we have to do much better in the next 8 games if we are to stay in the race.

We have dropped 13 points in our last 8 games and despite the injuries its not nearly good enough Marvin in fact its totally unacceptable after our good start.

2 of the losses have been nothing short of a disaster against sides we beat comfortably in the corresponding games last season.

We have thrown away a good opportunity to blow the premiership wide open and MP has to take his share of blame for this.

Failure to dominate and have a good win against Southampton and the knives will really be out for MP.

We have to do much better from now on and start justifying the investment in this squad that has been made.

We have gone backwards despite the investment so far and that is totally unacceptable.

Even a Michelin-starred chef needs to have the right ingredients to prepare the meal he needs to?

Sure, someone with such culinary talent might still be able to wing it and concoct something palatable.

But if he needed to make a soufflé and began at the outset with a tin of fucking Fray Bentos (steak and kidney, mind you) he would be on to a loser from the start.

That's what Pellegrini achieved prior and up to half-time, a dog's dinner of transport cafe quality.

You're more blaming the quality of players? The players Pellegrini brought to the club?

To be fair, the last time one of our managers made a change to personnel and tactics during the first half that weren't forced by injury, he was castigated by the players for doing so. It takes a big man to hold his hand up and admit he was wrong and do something immediately.

Perhaps Pellers seeing what happened to his predecessor decided on the diplomatic option and made the changes at half time. Whatever, by the time those changes were made the game was already lost.

It seems like managers are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Personally, if it was me I'd have made the substitutions and changed the formation and damned the consequences.

But this is the problem he often picks the wrong side and has to change it, the problem is that like yesterday the game had already gone. You only have to look at Harts face to tell you what the players thought of this formation. The players can see it the fans can see it..... but he would play the same 11 again. Then some fans wonder why people are upset.

He would also have known that in reality he only had two substitutions at his discretion. He was already committed to taking Aguero off early in the 2nd half if not sooner. And the medics had probably advised him that two of his replacement options (Fernandhino and Delph) shouldn't play for more than 45 mins. To some extent his options were restricted by the poor physical condition of the squad.

Pellegrini continued problem this season :
he got to the stage of bankruptcy , poverty that he no longer knows what he is doing ro he does not understands anything to do with! For example play against Aston Villa with 3 mid and then against Liverpool with 2 - the weakest two-mids , NANDo who fails in high pressure and Toure, who whole world convinced he does not work as a mid - and benched the most important two weapons for higher pressure and they fernandinao best players season and Delph and followed bery poor defensive disastrous between Demi and Mangala !!Now pelle strongly babbling and deliver his head to the ideas of others, and the reason is he does not know , understand any football tactics except the 442 and when it proved last year's severe failing of 442 and forced grabbing it - and not his own free will - tochange it, looked flops this year because he is not a programmed himself nor his team programmed on other plans, so continues to delirium and confusion

There are some good points there, but I afraid I was lost after the second paragraph
