Re: If Not Manuel Pellegrini then who?

For those complaining about us this year, it is worth noting that Ancelotti has only ever won the league twice three times in his 30 year managerial career spanning Parma, Juve, Milan, PSG, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

It's not a certain that he will come in and improve us domestically. His European record overshadows his inability to do over the course of a season.

EDIT: Forgot PSG

If our 'top' target isn't available this summer then I wouldn't be against Rafa on an interim role for a season. Better than sticking around with Pellegrini for another year until Pep (supposedly) becomes available.

Do you really think some of our "wonderful" players would put up with an interim manager, surely it would be beneath them to play for him

Any player who shares that view wants fucking off. Chelsea got by for a year and their star players are now doing ok.

Must admit, the prospect of Ancelotti doesn't fill me with any great confidence. He's obviously no mug, but I don't think he's what we need.

Simeone!
Asses need to be kicked. The appeasement policy of winning friends and influencing people holistically isn't working very well.
We need a young progressive, determined, competitive and hungry manger.

At this moment in time, ANYBODY with a pulse would do a better job than Pellegrini.
4 wins in the last 11 games is bloody awful.

It's time for patrick vieira.

Patrick Vieira should be considered as a candidate but has to finish this season coaching the EDS side.

That would not take priority if a decision was to be made.
