Even those posters who were unfairly critical of Txiki early on because they were sore at the sacking of Mancini (and unfortunately I have to include myself in this bunch, however ridiculous that makes me feel now) must look at our business this window and applaud.

Getting two of Europes best young players THIS window before the mega mega bucks come into play NEXT summer (and the £100mill combined price would likely be £130-150mill), as well as two very promising youngsters, AND an English midfield squad player, and doing all that whilst sailing through FFP is a fantastic achievement. Not forgetting offering our double winning manager an extended contract thus cutting the "are you keeping the seat warm for Pep" weekly press conference questions stone dead is remarkable and only the most myopic could fail to see the benefit.

Even though everybody knows that is at the heart of the ongoing antagonism from some on the forum towards Begiristain, fair play for admitting it. I think you are actually the first with the balls ;-)

Well played Kazz for openly being one of those who now admits that you got things wrong with Txiki. Please go straight to the ticket office and collect your bollocks back mate. ;)

Fair play for admitting the motives behind the criticism.

At least you're honest and have the balls to admit it.

Nah, Forza has taken over De Niro's role of fishing for bites, and he's bagging plenty. Either that or he really is an idiot. ;)

I'm telling you, forza is Txiki's username on BM.

That's why we've had such a shit window, because all the time he's on here pretending to slag himself off, we've paid over the odds for some ginger Chelsea reject and the latest in a long line of sick notes when he should have been trying to land a proper player like Rooney.

What does 'forza' mean? Force, that's what. As in 'may the force be with you.'

And the force (forza) is with Txiki because the forza IS Txiki.

It's all there for anyone who can put the pieces together.

I thought it meant "a knob"

We still slagging this lad off then despite breaking our transfer record twice on the best homegrown player around, the Bundesliga player of the year then signing the La Liga defender of the year as a bit of an aside?

Love a bit of Bluemoon.

Well I'm coming off the agnostic fence now. He's convinced me he's doing a good job - Regardless of who else we get in during the transfer window.
I stated my feelings on the matter on August 18th. The window only got better subsequently with Otamendi & De Bruyne.
It doesn't mean that senior management didn't make a complete ronald of the Mancini dismissal - they did. We lost the FA cup final to Wigan as a result.
