Huh, you mean the statistically significant and verifiable data provided by many, many reputable sources I have already referenced in the thread that supports what I am saying and absolutely no data from any source to support what you are saying? How exactly would you cull such data? And what is significant? You are playing unquantifiable games with worse here.
It's not a false issue. It's a request we keep things legal and evidence based. It's not an either conviction or accusation issues..Convict all the sex crimes. But convict!!!
I said nothing about the increasing chargers and conviction rate. Frankly, I said the opposite. I want more charges and convictions..What I oppose, is public opinion convictions on accusation claims..
You made up a strawman and arguing against it. We do apply the standard of evidence and legal conviction to all laws.
See, so you've just claimed I was arguing against conviction. But in fact you are the one who is against conviction. You are the one who wants a different standard than worths the norm for crimes.
You can’t just make things up and then say there’s no way to quantify or verify your claims, therefore they are not only valid but more valid than claims that are actually quantified and verified.
You continue to use self-substantiated, circular reasoning to make nonsensical arguments.
I would start educating yourself with these resources:

And nowhere have I argued against conviction or a different standard applied to legal proceedings. But society has never (and cannot for it to function) relied solely on the formal justice system to enforce consequences. And that is especially the case when it comes to sex crimes, the vast majority of which are perpetrated by men against women, and the vast majority of which go unpunished for myriad reasons already expounded upon in the thread.
You haven’t even clarified what you are arguing. Unless you are saying none of us should be discussing this and media shouldn’t be investigating or reporting on it, and that only law enforcement and the courts should be involved with absolutely no public awareness or pressure, which is essentially advocating for the status quo of centuries of nearly no men committing sexual crimes being held accountable.
Again, I don’t think even you know what you are actually advocating for, other than some simplistic “everyone is innocent until proven guilty”, even though that only applies to the formal justice system, we all grew that is an important tenet for a functioning society, and it is not even what most of us are debating.
I am disengaging with you now until I see some evidence you have actually educated yourself on this subject (for which I have spent quite a lot of time analysing data in both the UK and the US).
