I'm not passing judgement on Russell Brand, like I say, he's an irrelevant scruff in the great scheme of things.
My comment is aimed more at C4, apparently sensationalising a non-story about a non-entity.

If it’s entertainment you want BBC1 appears to have that covered with a great looking new show with Twatty Man Alan Carr and Strictly Come Dancing. Thank God there’s choices for people, including not watching anything if you don’t want to

I’d have probably given him the benefit of the doubt had he not made that video. He got up to a lot of naughtiness back in the day but within those circles I imagine a lot was consensual with enough groupie action to keep him satisfied.
By coming out and going on one of his faux intellectual conspiracy monologues that he does so well leads me to think that all may not be well in Brand world..
