Distin to come back

All the sad twats slagging Distin off on here. It's pathetic.

We were shite. He played for us for five years. Was one of the majors reasons we didn't go down and then left to try and win something instead of stay under the genius that was Pearce and see the rest of his career go down the pan.

Funnily enough, I bet most of those that slag Distin for not wanting to waste 3/4s of his career here are the same people that are all urging Terry to shit on Chelsea.

Double standards and football fans. The world's oldest relationship

no thanks.
as much as i liked his performances with dunnie, he like joey barton thought he was bigger than manchester city, we can get better than him and wouldnt want to see him in a blue shirt again after his attitude to us fans when we play pompey. prick.

Was that the game where he got shit from the moment that he stepped on the pitch and eventually reacted?

Oh yeah, it was.

Perhaps you expected him to get on his knees in front of the ungrateful twats who booed a player who had done brilliantly for us from the first minute and for the rest of the game.

I understand why Distin left when he did. Let's face it the club was in a mess, we were yet to be bought by Frank and by standing still we were going backwards at a rate of nots. However, there is no way he should come back now. His prime years are behind him and I think he didn't look so good in the second half of last season. Also, he really doesn't fit the bill of a Hughes signing unless we are talking Prem experience, he is too old for starters, so let's not worry about it too much.

No double standards. No slagging off Distin. He is history & chose to leave. Good luck to him he was great at City but don't want him back.

Distin was a good player for us when he pulled on the shirt, lets not forget.

Times change and we and he have moved on and best to leave it like that.

I didnt expect anything of that nature sir.
I for one did not boo him, but i do not blame the fans that did.
Clearly we share different opinions about him.
I wouldnt have him back in this squad, surely you can understand we are at a stage now, where we can bring in players with better ability than sylvain distin, and personally i feel he is no better than what we have at the moment?

I'm with you mate.

He stayed with City until he had no choice but to leave, desperately wanted to stay which is more than most of us would have wanted at that time given no prior affiliation with the club.
