Divin Mubama

Thought we might play him tomorrow to give Erling a break after his recent knee issue. Still, glad he did well and got the hatty today. Good for him.

Good for us but the predatory nature of us and United continually skimming the cream off the top of other decent academies makes me a bit sad.

Meh, West Ham will have signed plenty of academy players from smaller clubs themselves over the past few years. It’s the same as first team football really, the best young players will want to be playing at the best academy (although in Utd’s case it will be because they’re paying them loads)

Some join utd's academy as it practically guarantees them an England call up. Doesn't matter if they even have a club foot. No offence meant to people with a club foot.

I think they used to call West Ham the academy of football.

Congratulations Divin on being named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for February.

Say what you want about those big calls for Idris Elba possibly playing James Bond, that might very well be ridiculous thought to ever cast him but his range is amazing.

He's been in The Wire and Luther plus other things too, but he's been starring as a City EDS player for months now.

Even though he's getting on a bit now nobody at the club has noticed it's him which just shows how well he can act, he's truly immersed himself into the role so well that he's actually become a good football player.

Fair play.
