Diving bans approved

He was booked for diving against WBA, but was it fuck a dive. He was barged off the ball when running at pace.
How was he supposed to stand up.
Said that at the time, at that speed, any slight touch would take him off balance and over.

IMHO, this is really hard to police, and as others have stated, will benefit certain clubs more than others.

I wouldn't trust an ex player or manager to have no preconceived bias in this situation. That's my biggest gripe with the proposal.

never thought I'd see the day but I agree with Fat Sam..............................

It was a pen, for me. If the ref doesn't want to give it or sees it as a shoulder charge, then fair enough.
But a booking, never.

Is there a pattern emerging that whenever an old sky4 team fails to reach top4 or have the trophy snatched away from them by "little" City:

They propose changes that on the surface look like they are in the interest of fair play but on closer inspection could also be used to give them at least some chance to influence things from behind the scenes if things aren't going they way they'd like?

I'm having visions of bond villains sitting in a board room with a projector displaying our PL table position(Title of presentation "Operation Restore Old Top 4") and the odds of us finishing 3rd: "Arrrg foiled again we got Liverpool back in but Arsenal dropped out, the less said about United's finish the better... this is unacceptable back to the drawing board."

According to the MEN headline only City players, no mention of the rags......

Man City players will face retrospective bans for diving next season
