These cretins have apparently just been to our site trying to get in to a food manufacturers.

I'd never heard of them before so have had a gander on YouTube.

Absolute fuckwits who are simply roaming around annoying people and then acting holier than thou when people get pissed off.

Knobheads that need a beating. Everyone hates them, apart from the usual suspects.

Can they not be done for trespass?

Trespass isn't illegal, it's a civil matter. It only becomes a crime (Aggravated Trespass) when if you are asked to leave someone's land, you then refuse to. I know this as I do a lot of backpacking.

On this DJ Audits guy, I've seen some of his videos and while he comes across as a very annoying git, I thought his whole thing was never actually doing anything illegal but exorcising his right to do what he wants within the confines of the law on public land?

Trespass is illegal as you point out when you refuse to leave, which really was my point mate.

Can see the point of annoying big business or public buildings but it's no excuse to be a busy **** just for content IMHO.

They've been around for ages now I'd have thought most businesses would be aware of them. They film industrial sites. The videos are interesting if such is of interest to you. They always follow the law and actually do a decent job protecting civil rights from businesses thinking they can stop people filming their premises from a public area. They can't. Yes they push it a bit to get a reaction because that gets the videos more views and therefore they earn more money. The police gave up attending to call outs regarding them a while back after a memo was sent around. If businesses researched the law a bit more and ignored them they'd more than likely die off.

Exactly.

One of these YouTube audits guys was responsible for a company (somewhere near Urmston I think) getting done for basically pouring dangerous industrial chemicals down the grids on the road outside their factory. Obviously disgusting behaviour and they'd have got away with it if it wasn't for some bloke with a GoPro...so fair play to them tbh.

Auditing Britain, another auditor, mainly does public buildings and police stations. As a result he usually gets more confrontation. It's actually quite unnerving how many tyrant's there are out there when they're given a bit of perceived power. The same with the police some behave like thugs and don't know the law, or choose to ignore it. Ego drives them, they hate being challenged. AB has sued them many times and gives any money won to charity.
