Do not release bellamy to another prem league club!

If they pay us 4.5 million I would sell.

Without Hughes there it wont take much more than a month for him to start throwing his toys out of his pram.

so many players over the last few seasons who we've sold to clubs in the prem have been key in stopping us getting all 3 points. i've notived that.

im not sure he could cut it in the prem anymore not like he did for us and west ham for those 2 seasons. He didnt exactly look like a prem class player in the championship last season and it seemed like he lost 14 yards of pace as well

I can't think of any? I think Dunne might have scored a header against us in a game where we beat Villa.

when you look back at it we've really sold no one of relevance.

Ummmmm.. such as?

He wasn't exactly amazing at Championship level. Bearing in mind his age and his injury record, Bellamy is one of those that i would sell to anybody. We need shot of his £80k per week wages.

Distin - for Pompey and Everton?

Going back a little further - Etuhu, Dickov?

i can't think of any right now.. but when it's happened, i've thought about it there and then.

basically, the point is simple. if you release a good playter (because bellamy is still good at scoring goals) to another club in the league, there's a chance he will score against you.

i'd rather sell him to cardiff than spurs. anyone who disagrees is wrong

So that's not many really is it? Also, isn't it just an accepted part of sport? I mean, look at it the other way around... we've had Vassell score 694 goals against Villa for us. Or was it 695? Tevez has scored 3 against the rags (or maybe 4, i can't remember), he's also scored quite a few times against West Ham for us. Adebayor scored THAT goal against Arsenal.

It's just the nature of sport, and not a big enough reason to refuse to sell an ageing, injury prone player to Spurs.

Anelka? (although he went to fenerbahce first)
Ireland (although hes been going down hill since he left.)

Back on topic Bellamy has been rubbish for cardiff, I doubt it would make much difference where he goes.

giovanni scored a few against us, which resulted in a draw.

if united hadn't been so lucky, look at how many points we were off top spot last season, every point helps.

i know my point isn't the be all and end all, but how pissed off will chelsea be if they sell drogba to us and he helps win us the league.

fact

Geovanni signed a one year deal that wasn't renewed after it expired. This is one of the most hopeless threads ever.
