Can't see where we do have any weaknesses at the moment and don't really see why we should add to the squad in January. If we do go into the market i would like to think it would have to be a real bargain that would really add something to what we already have. Personally feel we already have sufficient cover all over the pitch for example players of the quality of Zabaleta, Kolarov, AJ, De Jong, K Toure, Dzeko on the bench Sunday and we still go and thrash the rags 6 - 1. For me the majority of the building of this squad is done and really we will only be looking to make a max of three or four additions a season to maintain the strength and depth we have.
Seems we have a really harmony and togetherness about this squad at the moment and would hate to see that disrupted with 3 or 4 new faces added, also with the new financial fair play laws coming in place it would beneficial for us to continue on with this fantastic squad of players we have and really try to push through some of the young lads we have in ranks to the fringes of the squad and possibly fighting for first team places.
Obviously certain players look destined to leave Tevez, Bridge, Onouha etc among others but i think this isn't a bad thing. Barcelona don't have a huge squad just a tightly knit bunch of world class footballers that know how to play with each other inside out, surely this is what we aspire to be?
Obviously im aware that January is still a while away and anything can happen but i really think this is it we ooze class in every area of the pitch and as we have seen and heard some players aren't happy to play the rotation game all the time. Would love to just see us keep this unit of players together and happy, we finally seem to be the "team" that we need to be and makes me so happy to see the players fighting and working hard for each other. These are beautiful times for all of us and i for one am enjoying them as much as any blue!!
