Do we need big names?

Not necessarily. we need Players who can play well together, big names or not. As long as they can fit into the system bobby wants

Yes, I think we do. If you know anything about Italian football, you know we do.

Samir Nasri is a given now.

Hulk would be my own personal acquisition.

The point they were making on 5Live was that we don't seem to have a system and you could see their point after yesterday. Rags have a very simple system that involves speed and accurate passing. What's ours?

Some reasonably fast, skillful, technical players we need, whether they cost 30m or 10m. Lavezzi, Sneijder, Mata, Nasri, Costa, Willian, Hazard, Gotze, even Hamsik (who I've been critical of) would be welcome in our creativity-starved squad. Take your pick really. Wish we had signed Sahin before Mourinho could, he'd have been a monster signing for us IMO.

agree with this^^^^

I'd never heard of Adam Johnston before we signed him, sometimes its just as good signing a unknown gem than superstar not always guaranteed to do the business!

Well, we did play with a system. Last season, a 4-2-3-1 4-3-3 was our main approach with Silva in a free role and Johnson/sometimes Balo as an inside/complete forward. Tevez/Dzeko was the lone striker. It was all about elaboration in the final third. That was our main approach with Tevez.

However, in the community shield. We trialled a 4-3-3/4-4-2 in attacking/defense. It was supposed to Allow Dzeko to prowess in the center forward role while offering Balo the complete forward role and Silva as a trequartista. It backfired. Silva got pushed back for possession purposes and Yaya was often far too deep to instigate his best attacks. When he advanced, he had little conviction. Although, his deep supportive play would've been excellent had we had some cohesion.

We usually just try to keep possession then when we get to the edge of the opponents box just pass/chip it to eachother as fast as we possibly can...

If that counts as a system? Bit like Barca's IMO...

Yes we need big names, because we are building a brand, We need to increase fanbase. sponsor deals and so on. oh and there more big names we got, the more big names will join.

its not without reason RM are one of the biggest clubs in the world!
