Do we need some players who can control the game?

As a team we tend to do very well against teams who come and have ago at us, it suits us to sit back and hit teams on the counter using our pace and flair and inbetween attacks soak up pressure.

Now when teams sit back and defend, looking to hit us on the counter then we sometimes don't have an answer for it.

I think we are missing a midfielder who can control the game and dictate the tempo - we need someone who has good technical ability and who can drive the team forward. I think a fully fit Michael Johnson would have done this for us.

Also I want to see more of RSC as I think we need someone to lead the line and hold the ball up and bring the 'runners' into the game. Only problem is he is always on the treatment table! Ade is a good player but he's not the type of player who will do this for us, he likes to drift wide.

Most importantly though I really think we should bring in two quality fullbacks in the summer, ones which can defend as we as contribute to attack. When we play 4312 we lack the ability going forward on the flanks for our full backs to take the game to the opponent.

I can't think of a midfielder who will be available in the summer who can offer us this, same with the full back poistion also. Any suggestions?

hmmm...I had not give that much thought but.....you might be on to something here.:)
