Do we need to be more aggresive to obtain ultimate success?

I've been reading the thread regarding the potential future of Bobby Manc & I can't decide either way at this stage whether he is the right man for us.

But one thing that does concern me slightly is that he may come across as to nice, by this I mean he always say's the opposition is good, good manager, good this, good that, he respects teams. Nothing really wrong with that really but does he go OTT?, thinking about it FeriScum hardly ever lauds the opposition pre match, especially us, gets a dig in where he can Moyes doesn't (I know he hates us), again gets a dig when he can. Wenger doesn't etc. Should he not just play us up & how good we are & forget about boquets & niceities to the other side + maybe a sideswipe/tasty remark to wind them up + fire us up?

And im concerned that his laid back attitude may transcend to the players, even though some (if you believe what you read) don't like his training methods. In many ways he reminds me of Sven, good manager, nice guy but do we need someone more aggresive with a bit of attitude?

with the money they are on (players) he should not have to tell them to go out and give it some?

Fuck off knobjockey. When do I start? :)

We need someone who has his own style and not copying baconface (Moyes) because it works for him. Baconface is naturally a spoilt, arrogant, bitter, lying twat. I've seen too many managers (in business) modelling themselves on others and it's laughable. Each to their own. I'm sure Mancini has a ruthless streak.

what's wrong with our manager having respect? why can't we have class? ridicoulous(sp) post. we just look better by not playing down the opposition, after all it's the best league in the world, imo all the teams in it deserve respect (cept the shite @ the swamp...he can play them down all he wants.)
