Do you give a toss about England?

Who could the F.A realistically appoint where every English fan would be completely happy ? Whoever we get would get the same amount of abuse you have given, and heaven forbid they should lose a match

It's not about appeasing everyone but the majority, the whole of the country including rag fans have been saying Rooney shouldn't be anywhere near the squad, i've not spoke to a single rag who thought Lingard should be near it either, they're even beginning to see the FA are just picking them because of who they play for ffs, seems only you can't.

England won't have a chance until the FA are forced into changes, this jobs for the boys should have been left in the last century if not the one before that!

If people like yourself aren't going to ever voice any displeasure then they won't change mate and you'll get what you deserve, a laughing stock at international level.

Tickets for the game v Spain on the 15th November are on open sale now,if anyone is in London on that date and fancy's it.

Again i disagree, who are the majority ? why should a manager pick players on the basis of a majority decision ? why not just have a text vote on who to play.

I want a manager that does things he way, Allardyce was unpopular at West Ham because he didn't pander to the supporters - he played a team and formation and got us the results, fans calling for him to be sacked proved to be wrong.

If a Manager is not producing results then yes i would 'voice my displeasure' but so far Big Sam and Southgate have come in and got ridiculous amount of uncalled for stick - let them get on with the job!

I'm not saying he's got to canvas the bloody population before he picks his squad!! But surely the fact everyone apart from a few blinkered souls have been saying Rooney has to go you'd have thought Southgate should have seen it also?

In fact it's not about just picking Rooney or Lingard, if he want's to pick them, play them in their normal positions, put Rooney upfront and Lingard on the right, but no, he puts them in positions where the whole country seem to know they'll be ineffectual.

Look Mark you patriotic stance is commendable however i've decided you're either wumming or far to entrenched in your view to listen to what 95% of this board are saying. It's not Southgate or even Allardyce per se, They're the symptoms not the actual disease.

The whole of the FA needs reforming, jobs for the boys fucked off, (Sammy Lee ffs) and a fresh start is required, surely you can see that?

Here's another person clearly wumming

"I thought Wayne was brilliant. He has been every time he has played for England," said defender John Stones.

Manchester City defender Stones believes England's record goalscorer is a victim of his own high standards, after scoring 53 goals in 117 appearances for his country.

"He wears his heart on his sleeve and gives 110% and you can see that in every performance," said Stones, 22. "I am a bit shocked that the booing happened.

"He is always up there and on form. The top players are always going to get the stick that gets piled on them because of the standards he sets.

.. and by the way i wouldn't pick Rooney.

My point is it should solely be down to the manager who gets picked and we shouldn't throw our toys out the pram after every England match in which 90% of the time we win.

unless we win the world cup people are always going to say the 'FA needs a total reform' ... without actually saying what needs to be reformed.

Couldn't give a fuck about England, always have a smile at all the flags that appear on cars etc when at tournaments from people who are lucky to know what colour 'we' play in.

I'd rather City won a reserve game than England won a World Cup. The media wankfest is part of the reason.

International footie in general is only a concern if I've got a bet on. If it was all scrapped I'd not lose any sleep or money ;)

Last time I was properly bothered about how England did was the 98 world cup. After that it was a very rapid slide into not caring at best and at worst actually taking a bit of pleasure in them losing. The odd thing is that I don't really know why. When I think back to 86 and in particular 90 when I was absolutely gutted when England went out of those world cups, it is really odd how completely irrelevant the national team is to me now. Maybe it's because I feel like international football generally is an irrelevance. It used to feel like the pinnacle of football, now it looks like pub football compared to some of the top leagues.

What do you expect any England player to say? He should be dropped he had been poor?

I expect every player dropped by England to appear in the same press conference it's announced. Thought it was a load of PR Bullshit getting shrek to speak yesterday about it. Not forgetting to sycophantic questions to him by the media.

Agree if Southgate had some Bollocks he would be telling Rooney that he aint answering any questions my captain will be up in front of the media! Its Rooney who is telling Southgate what to do, took Moaninho a bit of time but now he has sussed him out.
