cant agree with that,93:20 was their worst nightmare,they taunted us about not winning anything and to do that to them in the manner in which we did it will live with them forever,that moment was like a death in the family for them,fucking great :)It would hurt some of them more than 93:20. Losing to us, to concede the title, and watch us celebrate afterwards is a decent number of united fans’ worst nightmare, especially local ones of a certain vintage.
They were dealt a hammer blow and the fans have still not fully recovered despite them winning the title in 2013. Our win in the semi in 2011 plus the Sergio moment have changed the dynamic of Manchester football forever. The equivalent moment for us was going down after the Luton match in 83. It killed City for a decade afterwards because it was a shock to the system...unlike the subsequent relegations which were part of our ongoing decline.
