I know Wenger likes to do this in the carling cup, you think he will do this again or will putting out a stronger team to try and beat City will be what he will do?

I personally don't think he will be playing his kids. Arsenal haven't won a trophy in a while and this is by far his best bet because he knows we won't be playing our better players and that gets rid of a big threat in our team.

Arsenal have an extra day to rest and Wenger will sense the chance to win a trophy if they beat us so I think they'll be near enough full strength. Mancini has to put out a pretty strong team or we'll probably go out. The Wolves team probably wouldn't get the job done but with a few more adjustments might. Good chance for Hargreaves to play before his next injury.

It's a tough one to predict.

On the one hand Wenger is pretty stubborn and sticks to his principles. Plus they're competing in the Champions League and need to get top four.

On the other hand, I think he dislikes City intensely for what we're doing, and would like nothing better than to knock us out of a cup.

I think being at home gives him a better chance of dong so, and can see him playing a fairly strong, albeit not full strength, team.

For what it's worth, I think we'll do the same.

Arsenal will not play their best team. They will play second team.

Fabianski in goal instead of Schezny

Defence is harder to rotate as there are few injuries there. But my guess is

Djourou Koscielny Vermaelen Miquel

Coquelin Diaby(first game since may)

Chamberlain Benayoun Arshavin

Park

City should beat this team. Also this nonsense that Wenger dislike City so much that he's going to risk his best players when they are still in the CL and competing for top 4 is crazy. Wenger has always used the league cup to rest players and give few kids a chance. There's less kids getting chances now, but Miquel, Coquelin and Chamberlain are the top 3 he has used this season in the cup. I doubt he would play Frimpong and Coquelin at the same time like he did against Bolton
