Does anyone care that IF we sign Kaka we are gonna be the one's that 'Killed football' and all the rest of it or do people think like me?....Fuck 'em United,Chelsea, Liverpool etc have been doin this for years and that we are now playing the same game as them but we have just risen the stake

I have some concern and would like it another way.

However, that's the way the game is. It's not equal, it's not fair and a lot of it stinks.

The American system of parity is great but impossible to achieve in football. Without something like that to aim for we just have to bite the bullet and join the closed shop bastards. If nothing else it shakes up the shitbags who think they have it all their own way for good.

It's actually the sort of competition the game needs, even if it's come in a dodgy manner. Mind you, if we buy the world's best 30 players then it could kill it completely. That's not likely though.

I know where your coming from but like I said teams have been doing it for years. If all this does happen though it will make the league more competative, maybe not for the chamionship but definetly the Champs League places

I say sign him asap.
I don't care what other teams think.
Would they sign him if they had the oppourtunity? Yes they would.

Like the weve got Robinho chant....

WE DESTROYED FOOTBALL, WE DESTROYED FOOTBALL!

And i dont give a shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzle

Oh yeah, and I'd like to think that City, as a group of fans, won't turn into the sort of arrogant, 'fuck everyone, we have the money' wankers that make up a large percentage of the crowds at Old Trafford and Chelsea and whom we have all been justified in calling tossers over the years. We all know the sort.

However, the odds of that not happening must be pretty slim. Check out this thread in the morning.

I think world football will let us have a few years of success before they say we have ruined football
You have to win EVERYTHING to do that....it will be fun trying though

ps: In no way am I saying that they shoudn't sign him or that it won't be brilliant. There's just a way of doing it imo

But would you not agree that the way the media and the written press in particular have treated us recently with the Minute Silence and that tosser Darren Lewis this moring saying 'Kaka will NEVER sing for City' to name a few examples that we possibly deserve a chance to stick 2 fingers up at the lot of them?

I take no notice of what the media decide to print. Most of them haven't got minds of their own and will be sucking the club off in a couple of years, just like they mostly do with the big
four now.

I also don't buy into this medai conspirachy against City stuff.

I guarantee you, a large percentage of fans of the top, say 30, clubs in the country are convinced that the media has it in for their specific club. That is just how paranoid and eager to be painted as persecuted victims football fans are. Some managers and clubs themselves are like it too.

It's all a bit pointless really. Yes, there are some stupid articles written by biased people, especially last Feb, but every article that does not praise City (or any other club - to their fans) is placed in the 'medai conspiracy' file and everyone that praises City is placed in the 'balanced and fair minded, well written' file. I can't be having it.

No need to feel guilty. Football has always been this way. It did not just start since the prem league began. Real madrid did it in the 50s 60s. They paid way over the odds while in england they had a ceiling on wages and got passed by the rest of europe. Milan done it in the 80s and 90s. Barcelona have been doing recently and the rags always had more money than everyone else and been doing it for years. Just our turn now. My only problem is we are building the team from the front. Too many attacking players. You build from the back and be hard to beat and them add the flair. Having said that if the best players are available take them.

I don't care if he sings or not but I would like to see him play for us.
