Does anyone still have a video player ?

Couldn’t seem to pm you mate. I’ve found the tapes and they are all “mini digital video cassettes”. I’ll try and dig out the camcorder in the morning

Ah, sadly they won't work in the video camera I have which is just analog format. My tapes were from 1996 and had been recorded on a camcorder which was a few years old, but DV was launching around that time (1995 according to Wiki) so I am guessing this is stuff you have from later.

The process will be the same though, you just need to get hold of a camera that will play the tapes then work out how to connect it to a computer to capture the recordings.

I’ve got a dual VHS and DVD player in cupboard that lets you record tapes on to DVD. You must be able to pick these machines up on eBay for not too much money I’d have thought.
