Does it matter who our manager is?

Because if it doesn't, then Mark Hughes is a lucky, lucky bastard.

If our current manager can't stop a championship side doing us 3-0 at home then signing Kaka won't make a big difference in the long run. MH + Kaka = potential embarrasment unless he either signs three class CB/DM players or by some miracle gets Dunne and Micah to show some of the form they did last year.

It does when you talk about winning things as the smallest differences are very important. It still boils down to 11 vs 11 and a manager needs to do things that will make his team win, even if that is just getting them in the right frame of mind.

If you are asking if it matters who the manager is in terms of keeping us up, then no. Any old clown could have done it before the transfer window. A dead sheep could do it if these signings go through.

This one time only open goal is what will keep the woefully performing failure that is Hughes at present in his job until at least the end of the season
