Dominic Cummings

I have just told you what the advice was and from what I have read I don’t think he has ignored the advice, possibly stretched it as far as possible. Not sure he has put his kid in danger has he? Don’t understand your last paragraph

Sorry. On a phone. Typos.

Are you suggesting that there may be exonerating facts that would clear him that he and Johnson are withholding from the press and public?

I know what the advice was. It was not, if one (or both) adults contact the virus, you should immediately assume that you will be both so incapacitated that you should drive to another area of the country (or even across town)to source emergency child care.

Very, very few households with the virus and children needed additional help (even Cummings admits his family didn't end up dumping the kid). If every other household did what he did on the off chance that they would need to dump the kid, the national measures taken would become meaningless. We would also - as you are saying that everyone who gets ill has to immediately seek emergency plans for childcare - have had to provide thousands of emergency childcare/foster care places for people who do not have family to send their kids to at the first sign of illness. We didn't because we didn't and don't expect reasonable people to do that, as we know that there are so fee cases where parents with the birus wont be able to cope. So why do you think it was vital for him to take these measures when it wasn't for others?

please don't make sensible comments on here, the screaming baying mob won't like it.
Dazwar, there wouldn't be a screaming mob anywhere if he had followed the rules he helped devise. The fact he happens to be an arrogant twat as well does him no favours

This may be a minor point, but I'm going to put it out there; check how Dom the gutless is dressed, he is going to No10 for a will he wont he, chat with the guy who is supposed to be running the country, and he turns up in, a t-shirt and some what are they lounge trousers? All the signs of a man being asked to come in by someone who he sees as being beneath him in the organisation as a personal favour
That’s what I dislike the most about him. No excuse for scruffiness.

I wouldn’t go to the supermarket in the clobber he put on to go to 10 Downing Street, the scruffy ****!

He is using it as a statement. One that shows he has zero respect for anything Whitehall connected. As my life long conservative voting relation said to me..."Cummings is a reptile."
