Joined Huddersfield on a free. Good luck to him, I quite rated him at reserve level for us and think he could be a Premier League player in time. I remember him tearing Djourou to shreds against Arsenal reserves last season.

Little by little our 2008 FA Youth Cup winning side is disappearing. I think only Boyata, Mee (but for how long?), McGivern (on borrowed time), Weiss, and Nimely remain.

Whatever happened to Greg Hartley (the keeper) by the way?

It's unfortunate that so many haven't made the grade, but most probably would have had a first team chance before the abu dhabi money. And I hope they go on to be successful, it would be a nice ratification for our academy if players like McDermott and Tutte found their way back to the premier league

I doubt it mate look at them and other that Sturridge(who didn't play in the 2nd leg of the final)and PERHAPS Weiss none of them are going to be playing anywhere near Prem League Football anytime soon. You might end up with maybe one doing a Lennon/Whelan type thing of working their way back to the top flight), but player for player that wasn't a strong group money or not...

Robbie Mak has turned out alright, playing for the 6th best team in Germany last season and he's started to get games there.

Yeah, Mentel the goalkeeper... now a backup keeper at Dundee United. :/

Unless you mean the newer lad Rusnak, who is in the academy team and was the poster boy of the "Ecademy" video.

I'm sure i remember reading something about Hartley going over to the states to play college footie, havnt heard or seen anything since

I'm close friends with Greg. His currently in the states playing college football, a school in Mississippi. His not first choice there yet, having only joined the college half way through the season, but he says he should be number one next year.
