Did you hear the one about the Saudi journalist who got dismembered and the President of the USA backed up the ludicrous cover story. Another great Trump joke.Jokes are hard.

Jokes are hard.
The actual assault is not the issue here.He was assaulted first.
I was over in Northern Calafornia a couple of weeks ago, and my experience was similar.Just got back from a week in Michigan which is a traditionally democratic state. Talked to so many people and I was shocked by the support for trump in the whole. General consensus was he will do very well in the mid terms and is cruising to a second term.
. . . and moral relativism and selective ethics are easy.
You should do a little research before going so far out on a limb, as it makes you look almost ideological, as opposed to logical.
Trump was interested in that real estate because it is across the street from his new hotel.
As President, he can’t buy that land (or have someone else buy it for him) and if it is put up for salt will be commercial property across the street from his hotel, where another hotel could be built...or anything else that he will not control.
To rebuild the FBI Building there, it will be smaller, more expensive, and still require new offices be found elsewhere for 2,000 people who currently work there. And, we are not talking packet change, we are talking HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS...and that is before the cost overruns!
The new FBI building isn't a vanity project. The current one is falling apart.Alternatively, you can spend a billion dollars on a building because that's a good way of spending taxpayer money apparently.

The US Government has already sunk millions into this. Then Trump has a mysterious change of heart, and got his spokesperson to tell porkies about it.
Now if you believe that it's not at all dodgy or suspicious then fine, but that level of ignorance is what leads to people having their life savings cleared out by a "Nigerian Prince".
What Trump is now proposing is the more expensive option."Property developer finds out Government spending a billion dollars on project, wants better option".
Yeah I'll call the BBC mate
