No worries. Listen, when my country has deemed itself the King Solomon of the universe and then elects this rancid camel afterbirth as its leader, we deserve to be taken down a peg or three.
And they will elect him again, despite Flynn, Manafort, that ludicrous little pathetic sycophant 'lawyer' Cohen, Stone, the impeachment witnesses nobody was allowed to hear from, McConnell, Khashoggi, white supremacists, and on and on. Shameful really.

Now let's not start that.

Reminds me of that great line from LA Confidential after Sid Hudgens, the venal, muckraking journalist played by Danny DeVito, is bludgeoned to death in his office, and the investigating cop says, "Someone beat him to death and stole a bunch of files. Must have dug up garbage on the wrong guy. We got it narrowed down to a thousand suspects."
Reminds me of this quote:

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” ―Frédéric Bastiat

He wasn't in protective custody in a US jail.

OK, well, then call it a Godfather II Frank Pentangeli moment then if you like.
We can just bring it back to Trump and agree there is a *possibility* that, given everything he has done thus far, he may not exactly shy away from more permanent means of dealing with his enemies.

There's an episode of Star Trek (Original Series) called A Piece Of The Action, which I'm reminded of on a daily basis.

Jonathan Kravis, Assistant United States Attorney (DOJ) working on the Stone case, has also resigned.

And another prosecutor, Adam Jed, has withdrawn from the case.

It looks as though they are trying the ‘Watergate protest’.

It does often seem that Trump fashioned his entire world view after the New York mob, doesn’t it?

Pardons Stone.

Makes him campaign manager.

Every normal person goes WTF?

He still wins.

Sounds like one of those over the top political thrillers. Just needs Stormy Daniels to assassinate him at a Rally.
