Imagine if you will the next time US ambassador's go into a meeting with the corrupt gov where they are based and try and tell them to stop corruption?

They will be met with laughter and be told to fuck right off.

The US has been taken over. All of their vaunted checks and balances have been shown to be farcical. The Reps are traitors and one day history will record them as such.

Every single thing about its democracy is a lie. Preventing people voting. The Electoral College. Each state given 2 Senators regardless of population. Popular vote meaningless. Congress now an irrelevance. The courts toothless.

A laughing stock, a dangerous racist in the Whitehouse and there seems to be absolutely fuck all they can do about it. He is as guilty as sin re Ukraine, yet, there he is, still in charge. With every utterance from the fat sex offending bastard America is humiliated.

If our own fat lying racist bastard, thinks Trump won't grab his pussy, he is in for a rude awakening.

He tried a much more paired down version of this, in a different time when people (including elected representatives) even on the “problematic” side were still more sensible in their understanding of what was right and wrong in the context of executive action.

Hence why he resigned after he was told by Republicans they would vote to remove him. They didn’t even need to formally vote to do so, he preemptively quit to avoid the shame of being removed.

As strange as it sounds, I think if Nixon were alive now he would be saying “Christ, not even I would try that, the corrupt b*st*rd!”

I knew he jumped before a final vote.
The last bit seems about right. I guess it's what happens when you have a partisan blocking group on any matter that they don't like.
