The USA is pretty much 50 different countries, some similar, some very different held together under a Constitutional Democracy. The Federal government's response to the COVID crisis has been so deliberately vague that State's don't really have clear direction and guidance. This especially in bad in Republican states such as Missouri where the Governor is desperate to please Trump.

Again, it doesn't matter to him if the entire fabric of the US electoral process or the concept of a fair democracy is torn to shreds.

Refusal to support his opponent is an intellectual and/or a moral failing.
