Donald Trump

Just as an aside, I would bet a bit of cash one of the things that's emboldened Twitter in its perspective on Donald Trump's tweets is that the number of eyeballs engaging with his tweets is likely declining. That's not just bots -- that's real people. I've maintained that they've let him get away with his pronouncements that would violate terms/conditions in part out of respect for the office but also because he attracts users (i.e. consumers) to their platform, and therefore advertisers and therefore money.

Definitely. I've been on Twitter since it's beginnings, have an account there but don't use it at all, it's just not my thing. 90% of times I visit Twitter is to read what orange idiot is talking.

Twitter definitely profited because of Trump using it excessively. Tremendously.

I wouldnt be surprised if his intention is to fan the flames, after all isn't Minnesota governed by a Democrat. then he can blame the democrats for this. FUck the society and the people affected. Lets get a win

Of course that's the intention. And the more attention paid to this, the more we won't be discussing his COVID-19 response.

Sadly, in this case, gas hasn’t been cheaper.

"Fake news. My hair and tie aren't that long and I never have held a gas can that looks like that! And I would NEVER wear golf spikes with a suit! FAKE NEWS MUST STOP! ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!"

"Sir, it's a cartoon."

This is one of the most powerful pieces of news media you will see this year. The arrest of a non-confrontational mainstream media film crew and reporter in the process of reporting on live TV in the USA should set alarm bells ringing the world over. This really should not be happening in any Western democracy.

That arrest came out of nowhere, so I can only imagine it was on orders from someone else. Why there isn't worldwide outrage, I'll never know.

CNN president got on the phone to MN governor demanding answers. Reporters were released and governor made a long and public apology. Says the right to report is untouchable.

Cartoons apparently infuriate him, too. There’s a bit of me that would actually be sorry to see him lose in November as he’s arguably given cartoonists their richest material since Nixon. It is a very small bit of me I hasten to add.

With #45 generally being a fuck up, the way I see it, he has one out; to secure the Black vote.

He has to, basically, get involved and deliver something for this demographic.

With Biden claiming "you ain't Black" if you consider voting #45 and Black people coming to the notion, finally, that a vote has to earned, it's a real opening for re-election.

At this point, despite the polls, it really is anyone's to win.

Clarkie of the thread. Well done.

I blocked him so I can’t read his post but if past is prologue, it’s “I hate Trump as a ‘progressive’, but I hate Biden more.” Am I close?

A strange post given his latest comments.
